今天看了一篇The Economist《經(jīng)濟學(xué)人》上的一篇文章，關(guān)于黑客竊取商業(yè)秘密的，文章中有一句如下：

“Earlier this year Microsoft found that a group of hackers, which it called Hafnium, had broken into hundreds of thousands of computer servers around the world that were running the firm’s mail and calendar software.”

里面有一句短語Hundreds of thousands of 這個是翻譯成什么呢？成百上千的？不對，成百上千的我們一般說Hundreds of...就可以了。

那hundreds of thousand of 到底是多少呢？其實不難理解 100+1000=100,000。

Hundreds of thousand of...就是幾十萬...數(shù)十萬...的意思。

所以上面那句話就翻譯成 “今年早些時候，微軟公司就發(fā)現(xiàn)了一群黑客，他們稱這群黑客叫Hafnium， 這群黑客入侵了全世界幾十萬臺電腦的服務(wù)器，而這些服務(wù)器是公司正在運行的郵件和日歷軟件”.
