1. 基數(shù)詞：用來(lái)表示多少的詞叫基數(shù)詞。

①13-19 后面都是teen，20-90 后面都是ty.

基數(shù)詞中沒(méi)有百、千的單位詞，用千（thousand）和百萬(wàn)（million）來(lái)表達(dá)數(shù)字。

1萬(wàn)=10 thousand  1億=100 million   10億=a thousand million= 1 billion

2. 基數(shù)詞的用法

①當(dāng)基數(shù)詞hundred, thousand, million和billion表示大量的確定的數(shù)目時(shí)，不能在詞尾+s.

two hundred students 200個(gè)學(xué)生 five thousand years 5000年

②當(dāng)基數(shù)詞hundreds, thousands, millions和 billions表示大量的不確定的數(shù)目，后面+of。

hundreds of people 數(shù)以百計(jì)的人  thousands of trees 成千上萬(wàn)棵樹(shù)
