生活在國外的人應(yīng)該都知道交通信號燈叫“Traffic Light”或是“Traffic Signal”。

紅色信號燈表示人和車輛不能通行。

1、greenlight

我們中文里面會說“一路綠燈”表示一帆風(fēng)順，這個意思在英語里同樣適用。

例句：

只要相信，你的順境就在你的周圍。

我們知道紅燈是“Red Light”、綠燈是“Green Light”，那么黃燈難道就是“Yellow Light”嗎？

其實Yellow Light這種說法也是可以的，只不過還有一個更加地道的表達....

那就是Amber，是“琥珀（色）”的意思，琥珀色和黃色很像。

破云而出的陽光透過窗戶送來一束琥珀色的光線。

2、run the amber/red light“闖黃燈/紅燈”

A flashing amber light means you may move forward with caution.
