牛津樹分為牛津閱讀樹學校教材 （Oxford Reading Tree（ORT） Stage1- Stage16）和在家閱讀（Read at Home （RTH）1-9）兩種。在家閱讀現(xiàn)在改名叫Read with Biff Chip & Kepper，這套書仍然以提供家庭閱讀為目的。

在國內(nèi)能買到的正版牛津樹有三類：

由北外引進的教材系列：典范英語

由外研社引進的教材系列：麗聲多系列

由凱迪克引進的在家閱讀系列：Read with Biff, Chip & Kipper 1-6級和Oxford Story Tree 1-7級。

所有引進的版本，都是包含在牛津閱讀樹（后文簡稱ORT）之中的，后面會詳細介紹。這篇文章主要基于英國牛津大學出版社出版的ORT整體來介紹。這一整套書在英語和非英語國家都是用來做教材的。在最后我會介紹在家閱讀。

Non-Fiction非故事類

Fiction故事類

這兩類簡單說就是虛構(gòu)的故事還是真實的內(nèi)容。Fiction一般是故事，童話等內(nèi)容。Non-Fiction一般是傳記，科普等內(nèi)容。

橫向又分為兩個部分：

Stage 1- 9: Reading Tree

Stage 10-16：Tree Tops

顧名思義，1-9級的是較低難度的閱讀樹，而10-16是高難度的閱讀，所以又命名為樹冠（TreeTops）。

下面介紹這棵大樹的主干，Stage1-9

主干分為故事和非故事：

故事類主要就是圍繞三個孩子一個家庭展開。稱為Biff,Chip&Kipper Stories。當然，中間還引入了另一個黑人家庭和其他一些人物，但這三個孩子貫穿始終。

故事類主干分為三個部分：

第一部分：Biff,Chip&Kipper Stories1-9級。

這部分是主干中的基礎(chǔ)，講的也都是些生活故事，220多個故事，一本一個故事。語言方面也是日常用的基本詞匯和句型。

第二部分：Biff,Chip&Kipper Decode&Develop 1-5級。

這部分就是有側(cè)重地引入Phonics，讓孩子們邊讀故事邊潛移默化地學習Phonics規(guī)律，為自主閱讀做準備。一共有112個故事。

第三部分：自然拼讀

Floppy's phonics (Sounds&Letters 1-5級）

48本書，72個閃卡。依然是自然拼讀，從認識字母，音素開始。

官方定義：Use this step-by-step teaching resource, featuring your favourite characters, to deliver systematic phonics teaching so every child succeeds.

Floppy's phonics (fiction&non-fiction 1 -6級）
 這是獨立于主課本之外的phonics輔助閱讀訓練。從內(nèi)容上來講，也是關(guān)于Biff,Chip&Kipper一家的故事。30個Biff故事，42個non-fiction故事。

官方定義：Perfect for your children to practise their decoding skills with their favourite characters

非故事類主干：Fireflies Non-Fiction（1 -10級）

螢火蟲為科普系列，有些文章把它歸類為輔助讀物，但其實他應(yīng)該是Reading Tree 非故事類的主要讀物，共90本。國內(nèi)引進的麗聲百科萬花筒來自這部分內(nèi)容。

樹冠TreeTops（10-16級）：

當孩子的閱讀水平達到10級的時候，就應(yīng)該可以非常自信（confident reader）、通暢地（fluent reader）閱讀同等水平的故事書、報章、詩歌等等。從第10級開始，系列名稱變成 TreeTops，相當于孩子的水平已經(jīng)達到樹頂了，接下來主要是根據(jù)構(gòu)建好的閱讀計劃，在樹頂上讀更多的書壯大詞匯量、擴大知識面。從12級開始是文字較多的黑白插圖小說（也就是橋梁書）。

ORT其他系列，也屬于Primary：

In Fact (non-fiction 1-11級）

這套書是科普書籍，一共72本。其實36本適合1-5級，36本適合6-11級。

Songbirds Phonics(1 - 6級）

這個性質(zhì)和Floppy's phonics是一樣的，內(nèi)容則完全脫離主干故事。采用自然拼讀法（Phonics）教孩子學習字母和語音的對應(yīng)關(guān)系，不借助音標，訓練孩子看著字母就可以直接讀出單詞的發(fā)音，逐步做到見詞能拼、聽音能寫。共60個故事。

官方定義：These 60 decodable stories by the best-selling author of The Gruffalo combine Julia Donaldson's unique writing style with built-in phonic progression. They make phonics practice effective and fun!

Traditional Tales(1-9級）
主要內(nèi)容為40個從世界各地的傳統(tǒng)經(jīng)典故事中挑出來改編的故事。比如拔蘿卜，龜兔賽跑，父子騎驢，三只山羊嘎啦嘎啦等等。內(nèi)容不錯，語言簡單，級別攀升也很合理。這套書我家有所以比較熟悉，里面有神筆馬良的故事。

官方定義：Timeless stories with clear phonic progression.

Snapdragons (1 -10級）
本系列改編自頂級作家及插畫家創(chuàng)作的故事，作為10級以內(nèi)的輔助閱讀書，一共有60個故事。

官方定義：A rich mix of fiction for breadth and variety. These 60 stories from top authors and illustrators provide a rich reading experience for all your children.

All Stars（9-12級 ）

全明星系列是為學有余力的孩子提供的高階段的章節(jié)書，故事均為名家名作。有12本新故事，36個舊故事。如果詞匯量還可以的話，讀完7級后就可以開始看了。

官方定義：Ensure your higher level readers reach their potential! Age-appropriate fiction to build reading stamina and strengthen higher-order comprehension skills. 

Glow-worms(1-11級)
螢火蟲詩歌系列，話題貼近生活，有助于孩子們拓展語言能力，擴充詞匯，同時感受詩歌的韻律。一共有42首詩。

官方定義：A delightful collection of poetry which your children can read for themselves from the earliest stages of reading.

Project X Code （1-7級）
這個科幻冒險故事系列也很龐大，主要是4位獲得超能力的小學生的一些冒險故事，類似星際迷航，外星人探險之類。70是個虛構(gòu)故事，14本非虛構(gòu)故事。

官方定義：Project X CODE is a proven reading intervention for children in Years 2–4 (P3–5) who are a year or more behind in their word reading. It combines phonics and comprehension development in a character adventure series that's perfect for engaging boys. 70 story books, 14 non-fiction titles.

Story Spark（1-11級）

這是國內(nèi)各個網(wǎng)站科普牛津樹的時候沒有出現(xiàn)的一個大類別。今年2017年9月剛剛推出。旨在提高孩子閱讀理解的能力。

官方定義：Stories to develop and deepen comprehension skills. Emotionally powerful stories to fire children's imaginations, making them think, laugh, get cross, nervous and enjoy the anticipation of a great story.

Jackdaws（8-11級）
寒鴉系列為文集，內(nèi)容有小說，神話，傳奇，紀實等，分3組，共36本。其難度與同階段閱讀水平相比，更有挑戰(zhàn)性。這不是一個主系列，目前在最新的Org Chart里看不到。但在官網(wǎng)可以搜出。

官方定義：Oxford Reading Tree Jackdaws Anthologies offer a challenge for competent and mature readers. Each of the titles is made up of different text types with a shared thematic topic. Each combines fiction and non-fiction in the form of a fast-moving adventure tale, information text in a fact file, and a traditional tale or myth drawn from a variety of cultures. 

2018年會推出一個新系列：Explore with Biff, Chip and Kipper

即將推出的60個故事中有30個是Biff一家的冒險故事，另外30個是非虛構(gòu)類故事。

官方介紹：This unique series of 60 decodable reading books, linked to the wider curriculum, will take your children on a journey of discovery as they read across both fiction and non-fiction.

• 30 brand new Biff, Chip and Kipper stories are paired with 30 engaging non-fiction books

國內(nèi)網(wǎng)站流傳的一些分類，目前已經(jīng)不太準確。True Stories現(xiàn)在收錄在了TreeTops里面，Sparrows，Robins已經(jīng)沒有了。

以上全部都是教材，可以看到數(shù)量非常龐大。所以牛津出版社還為家庭打造了一套Reading at Home在家閱讀的牛津閱讀樹。現(xiàn)在的名字是Read with Biff, Chip & Kipper 。取材自上面介紹的教材，重新整編。這套書凱迪克引進了，我就放在后面和國內(nèi)引進的書一起說吧。

下面說說國內(nèi)可以買到的正版牛津樹

新版典范英語共分十級，其中新版典范英語（1-6）針對小學生，新版典范英語（7-10）針對中學生，應(yīng)該是把牛津閱讀樹ORT的Floppy's Phonics Sounds and Letters、Biff, Chip and Kipper Stories和TreeTops Fiction這三個系列整合到了一起。新版典范英語的1-6級大致對應(yīng)牛津閱讀樹的1-9級，新版典范英語7-10大致對應(yīng)Treetops部分。新版典范英語1-6是在舊版典范英語1-5的261個故事的基礎(chǔ)上增加了48個故事，因此多出一級。普通典范英語都是縮小版的，一頁包含4頁圖畫和文字，后來又出了大字本，也就是正常的一頁只含一頁圖畫文字。

典范英語的少兒英語拼讀教程應(yīng)該是把牛津閱讀樹OxfordReading Tree的Floppy's Phonics Fiction這個系列的6個stage整成了3本書。

麗聲走的是ORT中的另一條路線。典范引進的是故事類主干的一部分，麗聲引進的是非故事類主干和分支的一部分。

麗聲經(jīng)典故事屋：引進的牛津閱讀樹ORT的TraditionalTales系列

麗聲冒險故事島：引進的牛津閱讀樹ORT的Project XCODE系列

麗聲妙想英語繪本：引進的牛津閱讀樹ORT的Snapdragons 系列

這套原版書是凱迪克引進的。因為我一直在賣家里也有，所以比較了解。它的內(nèi)容就是取自O(shè)RT的Biff, Chip and Kipper Stories和Floppy's Phonics。但是需要再強調(diào)一下，這次閱讀季不是推銷書不是搞團購。所以我也只是把我了解的內(nèi)容放在這里。沒有絕對好的分級讀物，只有適合不適合。

原版的這套牛津樹引進之后也分為兩個系列。大家比較熟悉的是上圖的Read With Biff, Chip & Kipper（我稱之為閱讀樹），還有一個系列是Oxford Story Tree（我稱之為故事樹）。這兩個系列中，閱讀樹來自O(shè)RT的Biff, Chip and Kipper Classic Stories和Floopy's Phonics，而故事樹來自于ORT的Biff, Chip and Kipper Stories。這套故事全部取自O(shè)RT，但整編過的數(shù)量就少一些。閱讀樹1-3有33本，4-6有25本。故事樹1-3有52本，4-7有64本。一共174本。更高級別的國內(nèi)目前沒有。因為都是來自O(shè)RT的Biff故事類和自然拼讀，如果打算同時買典范英語和這套原版書的同學，要研究清楚是不是有重復(fù)。

我在開頭說過，這版在家閱讀的系列，和ORT雖然書的名字故事都一樣，但是我偶然發(fā)現(xiàn)有幾本書的內(nèi)容是有區(qū)別的。我把我手里的對比圖發(fā)給大家。首先是At School這本，ORT的版本是無字書，只有圖片。但在Story Tree里是有字的。再比如Making Faces這本書（ORT中Level1 19，Story Tree Leve1），這本故事內(nèi)容整體一樣，但是ORT中每頁只有一句話，但Story Tree中每頁有兩句話，內(nèi)容也不同。整體說來，同一個故事，Oxford Story Tree的難度大于ORT。應(yīng)該是牛津出版社針對在家閱讀這個系列進行了重新編輯，調(diào)整了難度。畢竟教材有近千本，而家里的書數(shù)量少，需要調(diào)整難度來適應(yīng)。這是我個人的猜測。

牛津閱讀樹的配套有8冊練習冊和8盒閃卡。如果決定爬牛津這個大樹，也可以拿來配合學習。
