(1) too much與much tootoo much意為太多,修飾不可數(shù)名詞 much too意為太,非常.修飾形容詞,副詞原級 He often eat too much meat. So he is much too fat. 他經(jīng)常吃很多肉,所以他非常胖. (2) such與sosuch做形容詞,意思是那樣的,如此的,修飾名詞 so做副詞,意思是那樣地,如此地,修飾形容詞,副詞 I have never seen such a big table. I have never seen so big a table. 我從沒見過如此大的桌子. It was such an interesting film that all of us liked watching it. It was so interesting a film that all of us liked watching it. 這是一部如此有趣的電影以至于我們都喜歡看. (3) -ing形容詞與-ed形容詞-ing形容詞說明事物的性質特征,意為令人……,通常物做主語. -ed形容詞主要說明心理狀態(tài),意為感到…….,通常人做主語. The computer game is very interesting and many children are interested in it. 這款電腦游戲非常有趣,很多小孩都感興趣. (4) alone與lonelyalone指獨自一人或只有. lonely強調孤獨的感覺,指人時意為孤獨,指地方時意為荒涼的,無人居住的. Though he was alone on the island, he didn’t feel lonely. 雖然他獨自一人在島上,但他并不覺得孤獨. (5) too, also, either這三詞做副詞時都可以表示也的意思,但用法不同. too 用在肯定句中,多用于句末. also用在肯定句中,多位于句中. either用在否定句中,常放在句末. I enjoy swimming and like football too. 我喜歡游泳,也喜歡足球. The skirt is pretty, it is also expensive. 裙子很漂亮也很貴. Kate didn’t go to the cinema and Lucy didn’t go either. 凱特沒去電影院,露西也沒去. (6) enough與too….toenough to do意為足以能夠做某事 too… to…意為太…以至于不能 The window is low enough for him to touch. 窗戶足夠低能讓他觸摸到.
