Sixty tonnes of baby formula and milkproduct on its way to China has been stopped by government officials.

As part of an ongoing investigation, theDepartment of Agriculture seized a major shipment from Melbourne in November,the Herald Sun reports.

The news comes as supermarkets arecontinuing to ration the amount of tins of baby formula sold per customer, dueto a shortage.

I'm sure Chinese babies are just asentitled to untainted baby formula as Australian babies. Of course, if Chineseparents are willing to pay 10 times the amount for a tin then it won't takelong for the producers to start charging Australian customers a similar amountjust because they can. What is needed is more factories and more shifts inthe factories that exist. Shutting down legitimate exports might mean lessovertime being worked and less product.
