教師如何幫助學(xué)生成為一個(gè)good reader?

   When you write an article, you should keep your readers in mind. That means you are trying to make your readers understand what you want to express.  You choose your words, plan the outline and write in a clear, logical and understandable way. Your sentences are should closely connected. Your paragraphs should be coherent and your topic or the main idea should be expressed fully, clearly logically and coherently; this sentence leads to another naturally and smoothly. This paragraph leads to the next paragraph naturally and logically. This way your article will be understandable.

While a good writer should keep the readers in mind, a good reader should keep the writer in mind. So reading is a process of figuring out what the writer want to express from the words the writer chooses, from the structures and styles of writing etc the writer employs. So reading is a constant process of guessing. This way. The reader can get connected to the writer by the passages of the writing ways.

A teacher should help students raise awareness of this guessing process. This should be the most important part of teaching reading and reading comprehension.  I mean, a teacher should build the student the awareness of guessing the meaning s of words from the context, guessing the main idea or the topic of a paragraph or a passage and guessing the reasons why the writer of this article wrote this article and how he wrote in this way.  If the student can finish this process well, it means he/she is a good reader.

To help the students become good readers is the main task of reading classes.

So reading is a process of exploring. Reading is a process of adventure. Reading is building a passage to writers' feelings and thoughts. Reading is a process of thinking. Reading is a process of experiencing. Reading is a process of trial and errors. Reading is a process of getting closer and closer to the writer.
