Why you are unhappy in your work

You are unhappy in your work because you are not free. You are not free to decide what to do in your job and to take your time. You are made to work, following rules and regulations made by your leader or your boss. You are just a machine which works mechanically and cannot work in the way you actively think of. it's an easy job but still you have to work under another's command. You will immediately feel bored.

If you design a plane and accomplish each piece of fixing job by yourself, you will feel extremely happy when you fly it into the sky and test every function you design and even a mistake will occur as you predicted. If you can live in a house designed and built by yourself, you will feel happy, much happier than those who can only live in a house designed and built by others. That's why you are unhappy in your work because you are working as designed and planned and ordered by others. You are not free in your work.

The worst part is that you are doing a job that can be interrupted and even cancelled by your boss at any moment. You are working toil and moil but your boss, completely out of his emotion, denied it and said what you were doing was worth nothing. How can you control your emotion in this case? You can only console yourself, telling yourself that you just need to hold this bowl in your hands to support your family, otherwise, you would pound your boss in the face and leave him dumfounded alone.

You are unhappy in your work because you cannot devote yourself to your job. If you can do your work heart and soul, you will love it more and more. This is just ideal. In reality, you have to tear yourself from your work now and then to do something irrelevant, you will feel agitated but have no choice. You are annoyed and upset and scratch you head for a relief, feeling that you are almost  driven mad. You long for a peaceful working environment and so that you can put your heart into it, but regretfully, you are in a situation where you have to give up your dream and face the reality: you cannot do your job as you will.
