PENNY: Can you make the tea, Sam?

SAM: Yes, of course I can, Penny.

1）注意make the tea中的k會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

2）注意course I前后可以連讀。如果讀得快的話(huà)，yes和of前后也可以連讀。

SAM: Is there any water in this kettle?

PENNY: Yes, there is.

1）注意如果讀得快的話(huà)，there any和water in前后可以連讀。

2）注意there is前后可以連讀。

SAM: Where's the tea?

PENNY: It's over there, behind the teapot.

1）注意Where's是where is的縮略形式，讀作[we?z]。如果where和is分開(kāi)的話(huà)，前后要連讀做['we?r?z]。

2）注意It's over前后可以連讀。

3）注意behind the中的d會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

PENNY: Can you see it?

SAM: I can see the teapot, but I can't see the tea.

1）注意see it前后可以快速連讀，發(fā)生加音現(xiàn)象，即中間會(huì)增加一個(gè)/j/的音。

2）注意teappot中的t會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

3）注意but I前后可以連讀。

4）注意can't中的t會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

PENNY: There it is! It's in front of you!

SAM: Ah yes, I can see it now.

1）注意There it is前后兩兩可以連讀。

2）注意It's in前后可以連讀。

3）注意front of you前后兩兩可以連讀。

4）注意it now中的t會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

SAM: Where are the cups?

PENNY: There are some in the cupboard. Can you find them?

SAM: Yes. Here they are.

1）注意Where are前后可以連讀。

2）注意There are前后可以連讀。

3）注意some in前后可以連讀。

4）注意cupboard的讀音，其中的p不發(fā)音。

5）注意find them中的d會(huì)發(fā)生爆破音的消失現(xiàn)象。

PENNY: Hurry up, Sam! The kettle's boiling!

1）注意hurry存在英美語(yǔ)的發(fā)音差異。在英式英語(yǔ)中，u讀作[?]，而在美式英語(yǔ)中，卻讀作[??]。

2）注意kettle's是kettle is讀作[?ketlz]。如果kettle和is分開(kāi)，則會(huì)連讀作[?ketl?z]。
