1960年出生于杭州

祖籍山東濟(jì)南

1985年畢業(yè)于山東藝術(shù)學(xué)院油畫(huà)系

同年分配進(jìn)入省美術(shù)館創(chuàng)作部

1996年畢業(yè)于中央美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫(huà)系第八屆研究生班

曾獲中國(guó)油畫(huà)大展金獎(jiǎng)

呂建軍的人物畫(huà)獨(dú)樹(shù)一幟，造型流暢洗練，設(shè)色高雅，有著歐洲早期坦培拉繪畫(huà)的韻味。呂建軍曾獲中國(guó)油畫(huà)大展金獎(jiǎng)，他的古代仕女畫(huà)古典味道濃厚，制作精美，百看不厭。畫(huà)中人物多為清秀纖弱的女子，身著晚清民國(guó)時(shí)的服裝，靜靜的坐在中國(guó)式的古典椅子上，散發(fā)出寧?kù)o悠遠(yuǎn)的思古情緒。
