西蒙·武埃在藝術(shù)上受意大利的教養(yǎng)當(dāng)然更加深厚，
而在色彩與素描上對他影響最深的還是卡拉瓦喬的作品。
后來他又傾注于對威尼斯的光色表現(xiàn)的研究，
最終形成為他的法國巴洛克畫風(fēng)。
