One day a great general asks his soldiers, “What is the strongest power in the world?”

一天，一位偉大的將軍問(wèn)他的士兵，“世界上最強(qiáng)大的力量是什么？”

Four of his soldiers put up their hands. 

他的四個(gè)士兵舉起他們的手。

They want to answer the question. 

他們想回答這個(gè)問(wèn)題。

The general asks the first man to speak. 

將軍讓第一個(gè)人說(shuō)。

The first man is younger than the other three, and he's not strong.

第一個(gè)人比其他三個(gè)都年輕，他不強(qiáng)壯。

He says, “My gun is the strongest. It can kill anyone.”

他說(shuō)，“我的槍是最強(qiáng)大的。它可以殺了任何人。”

“Thank you. Next, please.”

“謝謝。下一個(gè)?！?/p>

The second man is very strong. 

第二個(gè)人很強(qiáng)壯。

He says, “I don't think that's true. Soldiers use guns. So a soldier is the strongest.”

他說(shuō)，“我不這么認(rèn)為。士兵用槍。所以士兵才是最強(qiáng)大的?！?/p>

The third man says, “Soldiers use guns, but our general gives orders. So I think our general is the strongest.”

第三個(gè)人說(shuō)，“士兵用槍?zhuān)俏覀儗④姲l(fā)指令。所以我認(rèn)為我們將軍是最強(qiáng)大的。”

The fourth man is the oldest.

 第四個(gè)人是年齡最大的。

He says, “Love is the strongest. With love, people don't need guns.”

他說(shuō)，“愛(ài)是最強(qiáng)大的。有了愛(ài)，人們不需要槍了。”

The general says nothing. He takes out a medal and gives it to him.

將軍什么都沒(méi)說(shuō)。他拿出一枚獎(jiǎng)?wù)陆唤o了他。
