My name is Li Kang. I live in Shijiazhuang, a city not far from Beijing. It is the capital city of Hebei Province.

我叫李康，住在離北京不遠(yuǎn)的石家莊市。它是河北省的首府。

Today is my first day at Senior High school and I’m writing down my thoughts about it.

今天是我升入高中的第一天，現(xiàn)在我就寫寫我這一天的感想。

My new school is very good and I can see why. The teachers are very enthusiastic and friendly and the classrooms are amazing.

我的新學(xué)校很好，理由如下：老師們非常熱情、友好，而且教室很棒。

Every room has a computer with a special screen, almost as big as a cinema screen.

每個教室都配備有一臺電腦，電腦屏幕是和電影屏幕大小差不多的特殊屏幕。

The teachers write on the computer, and their words appear on the screen behind them.

老師在電腦上寫字，這些字就出現(xiàn)在老師身后的屏幕上。

The screens also show photographs, text and information from websites. They’re brilliant!

屏幕也能展示照片、文本以及網(wǎng)站下載的信息。真是太棒了！

The English class is really interesting. The teacher is a very enthusiastic woman called Ms Shen.

英語課真的很有趣。老師是一位姓沈的非常熱心的女士。

We’re using a new textbook and Ms Shen’s method of teaching is nothing like that of the teachers at my Junior High school.

由于我們使用的是新課本，沈老師的教學(xué)方法和初中老師的完全不一樣。

She thinks that reading comprehension is important, but we speak a lot in class, too.

她認(rèn)為閱讀理解很重要，而我們在課堂上說得也很多。

And we have fun. I don’t think I will be bored in Ms Shen’s class!

我們過得很快樂。我認(rèn)為上沈老師的課我是不會感到厭煩的。  

Some students were embarrassed at first but everyone was very friendly and it was really nice.

有些學(xué)生起初有些為難，不過每個人都很友好，真是太好了。

Ms Shen wants to help us improve our spelling and handwriting. We do this in a fun way, with spelling games and other activities.

沈老師想幫助我們提高拼寫和書寫水平。我們用有趣的拼寫游戲和其他活動做完了這些。

I like her attitude very much, and the behaviour of the other students shows that they like her, too.

我非常喜歡她的教態(tài)，其他學(xué)生的行為表明他們也很喜歡沈老師。

They say that girls are usually more hard?working than boys, but in this class, everyone is hard?working.

人們說女生通常比男生用功，但是，在我們班里，人人都很用功。

For our homework tonight, we have to write a description of the street where we live. I’m looking forward to doing it!

今晚的家庭作業(yè)是描寫我們居住的街道。我正盼望著做家庭作業(yè)呢！

精準(zhǔn)學(xué)習(xí)丨效果倍增

They say that first impressions are very important. My first impression of Mrs Li was that she was nervous and shy.

人們常說第一印象很重要。我對李老師最初的印象是她既緊張又害羞。

I think perhaps she was, as it was her first lesson with us. But now, after two weeks, the class really likes working with her.

我想她這樣也許是因為她給我們上第一節(jié)課的緣故吧。兩周過去了，全班學(xué)生都很喜歡上她的課。

She’s kind and patient, and she explains English grammar so clearly that even I can understand it!

她和藹而且又有耐心，她解釋的英語語法非常清楚，連我都能夠理解！

I ve always hated making mistakes or pronouncing a word incorrectly when I speak English, but Mrs Li just smiles, so that you don’t feel completely stupid!

我總是不愿意犯錯誤或在說英語時念錯詞，但是，李老師只是笑笑，因此，你就不會感到自己是個大笨蛋！

I think maybe she goes a bit too slowly for the faster students, but for me it’s wonderful!I feel I’m going to make progress with her.

我想對于那些學(xué)習(xí)較好的學(xué)生來說，她的進(jìn)度也許有些慢，但對我來說正好！我覺得我跟著她學(xué)習(xí)肯定會取得進(jìn)步。

I’d guess that Mrs Chen is almost sixty. She’s very strict—we don’t dare to say a word unless she asks us to. She’s also very serious and doesn’t smile much.

我猜想陳老師幾乎快 60 歲了。她很嚴(yán)格——如果她不要求，我們連一句話也不敢說。她也很嚴(yán)肅，不茍言笑。

When she asks you to do something, you do it immediately！

她要你做什么事，你得趕快做！

There are a few students in our class who keep coming to class late but they’re always on time for Mrs Chen’s lessons！

班上總有一些上課遲到的學(xué)生，但是上陳老師的課他們總能按時到。

Some of our class don’t like her, but most of us really appreciate her because her teaching is so well organised and clear. 

我們班有的同學(xué)不喜歡她，但大多數(shù)同學(xué)都很欣賞她的課，因為她的講解非常有條理，很清楚。

During scientific experiments, she explains exactly what is happening and as a result my work is improving.

做科學(xué)實驗時，她準(zhǔn)確無誤地解釋發(fā)生的一切，就這樣，我的學(xué)習(xí)正在進(jìn)步。

Physics will never be my favourite lesson, but I think that I’ll do well in the exam with Mrs Chen teaching me.

物理絕對不是我最喜歡的科目，但我覺得有陳老師教我，今后考試我一定會考得不錯的。

Mr Wu’s only been teaching us for two weeks and he’s already very popular. I think this is because he really enjoys teaching Chinese literature.

吳老師只教了我們兩個禮拜就已經(jīng)很受大家歡迎了。我覺得這是因為他很喜歡教中國文學(xué)。

He loves it, in fact! He’s got so much energy, this is one class you do not fall asleep in!

事實上，他很熱愛中國文學(xué)！他精力充沛，這是一節(jié)你不會想睡覺的課！

Even things like compositions and summaries are fun with Mr Wu. I respect him a lot.

上吳老師的課，就連作文和歸納大意這樣的事情也變得很有趣。我很尊敬他。
