It’s 7:30 on Monday morning. It’s time for Tom to go to school. Classes begin at 7:40. Tom is still in his room.

現(xiàn)在是周一早上7:30，到了湯姆該上學(xué)的時(shí)間。上課時(shí)間是7:40，但是湯姆依然在他的房間里。

His mother says, “Hurry, Tom. You must be quick or you’ll be late.”

他媽媽說：“快點(diǎn)，湯姆。你必須快點(diǎn)，否則你會(huì)遲到的。”

“Mum, where’s my pencil box? I can’t find it. I can’t go to school without my pencil box,” cries Tom.

“媽媽，我的文具盒在哪？我找不到了。如果沒有文具盒，我就不能去學(xué)校了?！睖泛暗?。

Look at Tom’s room. What a mess! His books are lying all over the room.

His football socks are on the desk. A kite and some clothes are on his bed.

看看湯姆的房間。真亂??！書在房間里遍地都是，球襪在書桌上，風(fēng)箏和一些衣服在他的床上。

Tom’s mother comes to help him. She asks Tom to put his book away and Tom’s pencil box is under the books on the floor.

湯姆的媽媽來幫他。她讓湯姆把書放好，湯姆的鉛筆盒在地板上的書下面。

“You must look after your things, Tom,” says Mrs Read.

“你必須照看好你的東西，湯姆?！崩锏绿f。
