通常來說，英語的陳述語句有五種基本句型，要是非說有七種的話，應該是在五種的基礎上加上祈使句與感嘆句吧。

那這七種句型分別為：

1 主語+謂語 (不及物動詞做謂語)

如：He smiled.

2 主語+謂語+賓語 (及物動詞做謂語)

如：We like apples.

3 主語+謂語+(直接)賓語+(間接)賓語 (跟雙賓語的及物動詞做謂語)

如：He offered the girl books.

4 主語+謂語+賓語+賓補 (后面跟賓補的及物動詞做謂語)

如：We saw the door broken into.

5 主語+系動詞+表語

如：They were/look beautiful.

6 動詞原形+賓語/表語 (祈使句，省略主語)

如：Be quiet!

7 how+adj.+主語+謂語/系動詞+其他

如：How fast the car runs!

what +n.+主語+謂語/系動詞+其他

如：What a fast car it is!
