今天要介紹一位美國老牌歌后，50年代最紅的歌手。 華麗醇厚的聲音，與卡朋特的金嗓有幾分相似 。類似她這種自帶唱片畫面的聲線，非常令人迷醉，至今還未有來者…… 有時候會想，一種聲音對應(yīng)一個時代，她不緊不慢、從容有度的聲音，就是那個時代的節(jié)奏吧。 她的歌，需要慢慢聽，值得循環(huán)一個晚上，一個下午，一個白天，在屬于自己的時間里。 她叫帕蒂.佩姬（Patti Page) ，一個始終優(yōu)雅的女歌手。 帕蒂.佩姬是大樂隊時代排名第 14 位的藝人，在這期間共有上榜歌曲 39 支。她是 50 年代唱片銷售量最大的女歌手。 927 年 11 月 8 日，帕蒂.佩姬出生于俄克拉何馬州的 Muskogee 。她是在Tulsa 地方的無線電臺開始她的職業(yè)歌唱生涯的。在周末也偶爾參加一些爵士音樂會。她 Patti Page 的藝名是在 Page Milk 贊助的一個節(jié)目中起的。即使后來她離開了這檔節(jié)目，這個藝名卻保留了下來。 她的第一支熱門曲《Confess－坦白》就是這一年的成績，而且是第一位流行歌星，制作了自己和自己合唱的錄音。 在繼續(xù)取得幾首成功的歌曲后，于1950年，她的一支《With My Eyes Wide Open I’m Dreaming－睜眼夢》達(dá)到了唱片銷售百萬張的成績，這全靠她新型的，自我重唱效果（也被稱為帕蒂·佩奇四重唱）。 還是在 1950 年，《All My Love－我所有的愛》成了她的第一支榜首曲，在榜首停留了 5 周。 同年，她一生中最成功的歌曲《The Tennessee waltz－田納西圓舞曲》則在榜首停留了好幾個月（此曲被選定為田納西州州歌），被列美國為最佳銷售單曲之一。在后來的日子里，這支歌曲不下于 6 次步入排行榜前 40 位。 在 1952 年到 53 年間，佩奇還出了兩支大熱門曲《I Went To Your Wedding－我參加了你的婚禮》和《That Doggie In The Window－櫥窗的小狗》，都在榜首停留了 2 個多月。 此外，還有一首《Cross Over The Bridge－過橋》，也曾非常受歡迎。 一直到 60 年代中期，她一直是排行榜上強(qiáng)有力的競爭者；她所演唱的流行歌曲范圍也非常之廣。那時流行歌曲有“日漸消沉”之勢，要想到責(zé)任在誰時，很容易會追到她的身上。 這是因為她太優(yōu)秀了。
