英文真的是種奇妙的語言，很多時(shí)候一句話里明明每個(gè)單詞都認(rèn)識(shí)，但是放在一起卻不知道什么意思了。

比如question，大家看到的第一反應(yīng)就是“問題”，例如 I have a question.

那么你知道question還可以做動(dòng)詞，表示“質(zhì)疑”嗎？

= 不可能的！同 impossible

通常用于在進(jìn)行一系列的討論之后，表達(dá)出“這不可能，沒有必要再說了”的意思

eg：

I've told you finishing everything by tonight is out of the question.

我跟你說過了，今晚之前全部完成是不可能的！

≠ 沒問題

= 確定的，毫無疑問的， 同absolutely，no doubt

用來形容一件事非常確定，不用懷疑 

eg：

Mary is so hard working. She is without question the best in our company.

Mary特別努力，她絕對(duì)是公司最優(yōu)秀的員工

≠ 給問題打電話

= 提出質(zhì)疑，同 dispute

形容對(duì)某人或某件事提出疑問，需要重新評(píng)估

eg：

Because of the poor result, we called her qualification into question.

從這個(gè)糟糕的結(jié)果來看，我們不得不質(zhì)疑她的資質(zhì)

≠ 打開問題

= 可討論的，可商榷的，同discussable

形容某件事還沒有最終決定，還可以敞開心扉地提出問題，進(jìn)行討論

Come on, the price is still open to question. What's your best price then?

喂！價(jià)錢還可以商量，那你覺得多少錢合適？

≠ 一個(gè)問號(hào)？

= 不確定的，同uncertainty

通常當(dāng)一件事還沒有確定的時(shí)候，我們都會(huì)用？來表示，存在疑問

Who will be our new boss? There's still a question mark over that.

誰會(huì)是我們的新老板還是個(gè)未知數(shù)

= 只是時(shí)間問題

形容一件事終究會(huì)在未來的某一天發(fā)生
