The Three Little Pigs 三只小豬，是著名的英國(guó)童話，目前已是全球兒童所熟知的童話之一！今晚，為我們讀故事的是VIPKID北美外教Brittany A老師!!!

Once upon a time there were three little pigs.

從前，有三只小豬。

One pig built a house of straw while the second pig built his house with sticks.

第一只小豬用稻草造了一座房子，第二只小豬用樹枝造了一座房子。

They built their houses very quickly and then sang and danced all day because they were lazy.

他們?cè)旆孔雍芸?，然后又唱又跳了一整天，因?yàn)樗麄兒軕卸琛?/span>

The third little pig though, he worked hard all day and built his house with bricks.

第三只小豬努力工作了一整天，他用磚頭造了一座房子。

A big bad wolf saw the two little pigs while they danced and played and he thought, “Mmm, what juicy tender meals they will make!”

當(dāng)前兩只小豬又唱又跳的時(shí)候，一只大灰狼看到了他們，然后他想，“恩，他們會(huì)做成多么多汁鮮嫩的飯菜呀！”

He chased the two pigs and they ran and hid in their houses.

于是大灰狼追趕這兩只小豬，兩只小豬跑啊跑，躲進(jìn)了他們的房子里。

The big bad wolf went to the first house and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.

大灰狼去了第一座房子，他吹啊吹啊，把房子給吹倒了。

The frightened little pig ran to the second pig’s house that was made of sticks.

受驚的小豬跑到了第二只小豬用樹枝造的房子里。

The big badwolf now came to this house and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the housedown.

大灰狼去了這個(gè)房子，他吹啊吹啊，把房子給吹倒了。

Now, the two little pigs were terrified and ran to the third pig’s house that was made of bricks.

現(xiàn)在，兩只受驚的小豬跑到了第三只小豬用磚頭造的房子里。

The big bad wolf tried to huff and he tried to puff and blow the house down, but he could not.

大灰狼吹啊吹，試著吹倒房子，但是房子沒有倒。

He kept trying for hours but the house was very strong and the little pigs were safe inside.

大灰狼不停地吹啊吹啊，但是房子太結(jié)實(shí)了，三只小豬在里面很安全。

The wolf even tried to enter through the chimney but the third little pig boiled a big pot of water to stop him.

大灰狼甚至試著鉆進(jìn)了煙囪里，但是第三只小豬煮了一大壺開水來阻止他。
