中英對(duì)照美文欣賞

我現(xiàn)在把寒假期間我閱讀到的優(yōu)美中英對(duì)照短文登出來給大家分享：

                       1. The Two Passions

Many people feel at a loss when asked the question “What have you lived for?” I often ask myself this question, especially when facing challenges. It can prevent me from idling, and encourage me to make greater progress. My answer to this question is: the longing for love and the search for knowledge. The two passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have guided my life.

First, love makes the world warm and the life peaceful. In my daily life, I found that love makes a man full of confidence to overcome difficulties; love can help a man to get rid of loneliness even in an isolated place; love can make people feel cooler. Second, knowledge can empower people to love the world we live and the people we live with in a practical way. Without knowledge, we still live in the dark, cold and poor world; without knowledge, we can only wait in vain for God’s bless.

The longing for love and the search for knowledge make my common life meaningful, and I would gladly live it again if the chance were offered to me again. However, we all know it is impossible for everyone to live twice, so what we can do is try to make every day count.

                     兩種熱情

當(dāng)被問及“你活著為了什么？”這個(gè)問題時(shí)，很多人都不知如何回答。這也是一個(gè)我經(jīng)常問自己的問題，特別是當(dāng)我面臨挑戰(zhàn)的時(shí)候。想起這個(gè)問題使我不會(huì)浪費(fèi)時(shí)間，鼓勵(lì)我取得更大的進(jìn)步。我對(duì)這個(gè)問題的回答是：渴望愛和渴求知識(shí)。這兩種簡(jiǎn)單但卻非常堅(jiān)定的熱情，指引著我的生命。

首先，愛使世界變得溫暖，生活變得安寧。在我日常生活中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)愛能使一個(gè)人充滿戰(zhàn)勝困難的自信；愛可以使人即使在一個(gè)荒島上也不感到孤獨(dú)；愛可以讓人們感到?jīng)鏊５诙?，知識(shí)使人們能夠切實(shí)地愛我們生活的世界和我們身邊的人。沒有知識(shí)，我們只能徒勞地等待上帝的恩惠。

對(duì)于愛的渴望和知識(shí)的追求，使我的平凡的生活變得有意義。如果再給我一次機(jī)會(huì)，我非常愿意再活一次。但我們都清楚，任何一個(gè)人都不可能活兩次。所以，我們能夠做的只有盡量使每一天都過得充實(shí)，有價(jià)值，有意義。
