美國亞利桑那州立大學(xué)理工學(xué)院校園新建工程涉及面積約8.5公頃，包括五棟全新的綜合教學(xué)樓。項目的建造目的主要是將之前的空軍基地改建為適合學(xué)習(xí)的場所，場地景觀類似索諾蘭沙漠。設(shè)計師們將一條現(xiàn)有的柏油馬路改建為具有一定滲透性和儲水功能的小河，流過新建的大樓和校園，使全校師生在日常生活中也能親近自然環(huán)境，增加了人與人之間的溝通機會，同時也解決了之前柏油馬路遇到雨天經(jīng)常被淹沒的難題。

It has a great planting strategy that takes the scale of the campus and makes it comfortable to walk around during the day. Those trees are amazing and give color and excitement to the campus.”
