一、教材分析
Unit 12 You are supposed to shake hands.本單元主要學(xué)習(xí)不同國(guó)家的餐桌禮儀,讓學(xué)生了解在不同場(chǎng)合下,怎樣做才能表現(xiàn)的禮貌得體。
二、學(xué)情分析
1、學(xué)生能在自主學(xué)習(xí)的環(huán)境中探索、合作、交流。
2、學(xué)生能夠通過(guò)對(duì)話練習(xí)、多媒體課件教學(xué),迅速掌握所學(xué)內(nèi)容。
3、學(xué)生能在語(yǔ)言環(huán)境中提出問(wèn)題、分析問(wèn)題、解決問(wèn)題。
[設(shè)計(jì)理念]采用合作學(xué)習(xí)和小組討論方式組織教學(xué)。在教學(xué)活動(dòng)中,將本單元各環(huán)節(jié)自然銜接起來(lái),學(xué)生在輕松、愉快的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍中掌握本單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析

⑴掌握單詞:shake hands ,custom, bow, kiss, drop by, after all
⑵正確運(yùn)用短語(yǔ):be supposed to, should do sth,
⑶句型:A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?
B: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.
2、情感目標(biāo)
⑴通過(guò)小組討論的活動(dòng)方式來(lái)激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和興趣,使學(xué)生在小組合作學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)中大膽用英語(yǔ)交流。
⑵關(guān)注學(xué)生的個(gè)性發(fā)展,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)寬松、民主、和諧的課堂氣氛。
四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)分析
重點(diǎn):要求學(xué)生掌握be supposed to do sth的句型,小組討論并進(jìn)行對(duì)話表演,充分運(yùn)用動(dòng)作、表情、手勢(shì)來(lái)體現(xiàn)較真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境。
難點(diǎn):學(xué)生對(duì)西方國(guó)家的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣不了解,特別是初次見(jiàn)面時(shí),人們通常是怎樣表達(dá)的。
A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone?
B: We are supposed to bow/kiss/shake hands.
[設(shè)計(jì)理念]為了很容易地突破這個(gè)難點(diǎn),可以讓學(xué)生課下上網(wǎng)查閱有關(guān)資料,然后在上課進(jìn)行小組討論,并整合每個(gè)組得到的信息;然后由小組長(zhǎng)代表全組成員表達(dá)他們組的信息資料給全班同學(xué)。
五、教學(xué)方法設(shè)計(jì)
充分利用多媒體課件上課,采用情景法、游戲法、小組討論合作法,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)輕松、真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。
六、參與式活動(dòng)分析
學(xué)生活動(dòng)一:在班內(nèi)評(píng)選十名文明標(biāo)兵參加學(xué)校評(píng)比,讓每個(gè)學(xué)生寫(xiě)出自己心目中的文明標(biāo)兵的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

they meet their teachers.
2.They’re supposed to obey all the school rules.
3.They’re supposed to be friendly and helpful to others.
4.They’re not supposed to quarrel with others.
[設(shè)計(jì)理念]教師用多媒體給學(xué)生一些圖片,讓學(xué)生小組談?wù)撛趯W(xué)校應(yīng)該做到哪些禮儀。小組發(fā)言,討論文明標(biāo)兵的十大標(biāo)準(zhǔn),讓學(xué)生評(píng)出班內(nèi)十個(gè)文明標(biāo)兵。
學(xué)生活動(dòng)二:
Teacher: What are you supposed to do to leave a good impression
on others?
Have the students talk about their ideas.
[設(shè)計(jì)理念]教師先以各國(guó)初次見(jiàn)面的禮儀引入,讓學(xué)生分組討論中國(guó)的社交禮儀。然后小組活動(dòng),每個(gè)小組討論一個(gè)不同國(guó)的社交禮儀。最后小組匯報(bào),談?wù)摳鱾€(gè)國(guó)家的社交禮儀。
七、教學(xué)流程設(shè)計(jì)
Step1. Revision
1、Greetings. 2、Duty report (Oral English training)
3、Review table manners expressions.

Step2. Presentation
1、Tell what you are supposed to do in your school.
2、Match the countries with the customs.
3、Talk about what people in different countries do when they meet for
the first time.
4、Talk about our school manners.
[設(shè)計(jì)理念]通過(guò)小組合作學(xué)習(xí)使課堂氣氛活躍,能充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性和主動(dòng)性,學(xué)生的合作意識(shí)會(huì)在活動(dòng)中得到充分的展示。
Step3. Listening and matching
Listen to the tape for what people do when they meet for the first time, then look at the pictures and match the countries with the customs. Check the answers.

Step4. Doing pairwork
Let the students practice in pairs.
Eg.S1: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time?
S2: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.
Now they tell each other what they know about meeting for the first time.

Step5 Discussing
