萬寧市第三中學 卓著書 Unit7 What does he Look Like? (Section A l a —1 c) I、教學分析 1、教學內容 本單元—(Go for it七年級下unit)以Physical apparance為話題,旨在通過單元教學使學生掌握一些描述人物外表的新詞匯;學會詢問并描述人的基本外貌特征;并繼續(xù)學習一般現在時的用法。 2、教材分析 將Section A中1 a,1 b,1 c部分設計為一節(jié)“聽說課”,時間為45分鐘。 Section A 1 a—1 c共設計了3個任務型活動。1 a 要求學生讀圖后將所給描述人物外表的詞匯與相應圖片配對;學習這些常用的描述人物外貌特征的詞匯,為下面的訓練,提供語言材料;1 b 要求學生聽錄音并根據所獲信息,將描述Amy’s friend外表的詞匯填在相應的橫線上;1 c要求學生在教師指導下,以pair work的形成口頭練習“詢問及描述人物外表”的句型。 3、教學目標 1)知識目標:A、學習有關描述人物外貌的詞匯“hair,curly,straight,tall,medium,height,thin,heavy,build”。 B、熟練掌握談論人物身高、體重、發(fā)型等句型,What does your friend look like? She is medium build,and she has long hair。 2)能力目標 Enable the students to listen to descriptions about people’s looks and talk about them。 3)情感目標。 通過本課學習,培養(yǎng)學生的正確審美觀,并通過實踐讓學生體驗學習英語的樂趣。 4、教學重點 A、掌握描寫人物外貌的詞匯和基本句型。 B、學會描述人物的身高、體重、發(fā)型等外貌特征。 5、教學難點 How to listen to descriptions about people’s looks and talk about them II、教學設計 1、總體思路 本課采用任務型教學法,同時借助多媒體輔助教學,通過設計競猜、調查、對話等多項活動,增添課堂教學的趣味性和互動性,使學生始終保持濃厚的學習興趣,培養(yǎng)學生的參與意識和實踐能力。 2、教學過程 Step One Leading—in(第1—3分鐘) T:Hello,children! Did you have a nice weekend? Ss:Yes…l No,… T:I was very happy because I had a good time with my new friends Last weekend You know I made many new friends in Wanning Middle School They are friendly to me Do you know what they look like? Ss:No T:Look,These are my friends’photos, Let’s meet them one by one. [設計說明]以教師的親身經歷自然導入新課,激發(fā)學生學習新知識的興趣。 Step TwNew words(第4—7分鐘) 1、Present new words T: Look at this girl,she is Yang yang she is tall,she has long, straight hair. But I am short and have long,curly hair. (Teach thin,heavy, medium height and medium build in the same way) [設計說明]利用多媒體呈現新朋友照片,學生直觀感知生詞,跟讀生詞,初步學習生詞,為下面的訓練提供語言材料。 2、Practice the new words.(第8-15分鐘) 1)T:Look at 1 a, read the words and phrases after me then match the new words with the pictures as quickly as you can.(Then check the answers) 2)T:Now, boys and girls, I will show you some famous people on the screen quickly Please remenber them and describe them like this:curly hair, short, tall…Clearly? [設計說明] 借用多媒體閃電式呈現一個到幾個明星,學生精力集中,強化所學生詞,為下一步聽力作輔墊。 Step Three New drills 1、Listening practice (第16-20分鐘) T:I have a good friend Amy. Now she comes to the station to meet her frind. But there are so many people. She can’t find her friend. Can you help her? Please listen and fill in the blank s in the picture and find Amy’s friend? [設計說明] 創(chuàng)設情境,用過渡語引出要聽的對話,激發(fā)學習興趣,培養(yǎng)學生聽的能力。 2、Practice the drills(第20-30分鐘) T:Now tell me what Amy’s friend look like? Ss: She is…,and she has… T: And I have a good friend in our class. I will describe her /him to you. Please listen to me carefully and draw the pictures according to what I say and guess who he/she is. Ss: What does your friend look like? T: She is…and she has… She likes… T: Now I will ask one student to describe his friend in our class, the rest of you guess who he is. SA: What does your friend look like? SS: She is…and she has… [設計說明] 創(chuàng)設情境,以競猜的方式完成任務,激發(fā)學習興趣,鞏固所學新知識。 3、Make a survey(第31-40分鐘) T:All of us have a pen pal after we finished learning unit 1. So now let’s make a survey about what your pen pal look like. Work in groups of four and fill in the chart. Then I will ask some students to report it.
[設計說明] 創(chuàng)設情境,通過兩兩對話調查完成任務,鞏固和練習所學新句型。培養(yǎng)了學生的參與意識和實踐能力。 4、拓展(第40-44分鐘) 不少青少年喜歡模仿“超女”、“快男”的發(fā)型,作為中學生的你有何看法? [設計說明] 借助多媒體呈現圖片,結合中學生生活體驗,利用此話題培養(yǎng)學生正確的審美觀。 Step Four Homework(第45分鐘) Do you like your look now? Design your new look. 教學反思: (1)通過本節(jié)課的學習,學生可以掌握有關描述人物詞匯、句型。 (2)本節(jié)課充分發(fā)揮了學生的主體作用,采用任務型教學途徑,設計的任務貼近學生的生活,學習經歷和社會實際,因此,學生大腦始終處于一種激活狀態(tài),在完成各項任務的過程中,培養(yǎng)了語言的綜合運用能力。 |
