　　19世紀(jì)歐洲的一個(gè)村莊，出身貴族的維克多(Victor，約翰尼-德普配音)是一個(gè)有天賦的鋼琴家。他接受了父母親的安排，要把出自曾是貴族之家的Victoria娶為妻子。害羞直率的維克多對(duì)婚禮相當(dāng)緊張，他一直嘴里念叨著結(jié)婚時(shí)的誓詞，害怕忘了。當(dāng)他一個(gè)人走在林間時(shí)，維克多跪在地上，把結(jié)婚戒指套在地上一根小樹枝上想多練習(xí)一遍。誰料頃刻間地動(dòng)山搖，泥土中爬出一位穿著婚紗的僵尸——那根樹枝是她腐爛的手指！這骷髏矗立在維克多面前，嬌柔而陰冷地說：“你可以親你的新娘了……”維克多才知道大難臨頭……

　　Two aristocratic families pair off their less-than-satisfied children, believing they will all be escalated into high society. Yet when clumsy Victor Van Dort (Depp) rehearses his vows in the woods, he accidentally marries the Corpse Bride(Bonham-Carter), throwing a great wrench in everyone's plans.
