Posted by kevinwu 05:53 PM | 全文 | 評(píng)論 (0) | GOOGLE(63) , | 搜索(33) March 16, 2007不僅要流量,還有客戶轉(zhuǎn)化率目前國(guó)內(nèi)的SEO過(guò)多重視具體的排名技術(shù)研究,而忽視了營(yíng)銷知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)。石頭寫(xiě)本文的目的,是通過(guò)一個(gè)小的例子來(lái)拋磚引玉,讓更多的seo不僅關(guān)注技術(shù),也關(guān)注基本的營(yíng)銷理論和效果評(píng)估分析方法。 最 近有一客戶咨詢,他希望能將他的站點(diǎn)流量翻一倍。進(jìn)而提升站點(diǎn)的產(chǎn)品銷售業(yè)績(jī)。該客戶是一個(gè)小行業(yè)細(xì)分的某一類產(chǎn)品銷售,他的大部分關(guān)鍵詞在各大搜索引擎 本身已經(jīng)就在錢(qián)三名了。給我看了他的流量統(tǒng)計(jì)后,我就提問(wèn):“你有統(tǒng)計(jì)過(guò)你站點(diǎn)的客戶轉(zhuǎn)化率嗎 ?”對(duì)方回答說(shuō)不知道。他們根本不知道到底站點(diǎn)的訪問(wèn)量跟站點(diǎn)后臺(tái)新增客戶數(shù)量有什么關(guān)系,比例是多少。 所以我就再問(wèn):“既然如此,你怎么就判斷你提升業(yè)績(jī)目前的方法就是提升站點(diǎn)流量呢?也許通過(guò)搜索引擎找你這類產(chǎn)品的整個(gè)次數(shù)本身就很少,你的站點(diǎn)流量提升已經(jīng)接近飽和了呢?” 以上舉的就是一個(gè)小小的例子,想說(shuō)明的是,對(duì)于一些銷售具體產(chǎn)品或服務(wù)的站點(diǎn),在對(duì)站點(diǎn)實(shí)施seo/sem,一定要簡(jiǎn)單地判斷: a. 目前整個(gè)行業(yè)大致的搜索量的范圍和增長(zhǎng)潛力 。 b.目前站點(diǎn)的搜索流量是多少。 c. 目前的客戶轉(zhuǎn)化率是多少。而整個(gè)行業(yè)的普遍轉(zhuǎn)化率大概又是多少? 如 果轉(zhuǎn)化率達(dá)到了正常水平,而通過(guò)關(guān)鍵詞工具等發(fā)現(xiàn)搜索流量增長(zhǎng)有巨大潛力,那么這個(gè)時(shí)候重點(diǎn)才是進(jìn)一步提升流量。這種情況也是大部分站點(diǎn)遇到的情況。還有 一種情況是,站點(diǎn)的搜索流量在同行來(lái)說(shuō),已經(jīng)不錯(cuò)。而轉(zhuǎn)化率過(guò)低(比如低于3%),這個(gè)時(shí)候,通過(guò)修改站點(diǎn)的產(chǎn)品描述,購(gòu)買流程,完善在線服務(wù)功能等提升 轉(zhuǎn)化率,則比提升流量的效果更為明顯! 當(dāng)然上面這些還是比較簡(jiǎn)單的,如果更復(fù)雜的,還需要計(jì)算出每個(gè)客戶的投入成本和平均收益。進(jìn)而能衡量那一種營(yíng)銷方法更有效。 推薦: 《站點(diǎn)轉(zhuǎn)化率基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)》 英文版,關(guān)于客戶轉(zhuǎn)化率等有比較詳細(xì)的闡述。 Posted by kevinwu 12:17 AM | 全文 | 評(píng)論 (0) | 搜索(33) March 11, 2007SEO FAQQ:到底使用那一個(gè)會(huì)比較好,連字型 ( - ),還是底線 ( _ )?A: Google將連字型 ( - )當(dāng)作空格。而底線 ( _ )則否。 因此,當(dāng)您輸入搜尋引擎關(guān)鍵字“search_engine_optimization” 查尋時(shí) 搜尋引擎不會(huì)顯示“search engine optimization” 在搜尋結(jié)果頁(yè)( SERP)。 但是“search-engine-optimization” 卻會(huì)顯示。 因此結(jié)論是使用連字型 (- )會(huì)比較適當(dāng)。 這個(gè)規(guī)則似乎適用於在目錄、檔案名稱和網(wǎng)域名稱。 Posted by kevinwu 10:23 AM | 全文 | 評(píng)論 (0) | 搜索(33) March 08, 2007Search Engine Optimization for osCommerce Online ShopsSearch engine optimisation is a form of marketing.
